A researcher constantly directing her research to deal with the environmental implications arising from high energy and emission intensive routes of energy production, encouraging usage of renewable energy to produce clean energy and the clean up the environment.

PhD. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in Chemical Engineering, i dedicated my PhD. to explore and develop novel semiconductor based nanomaterials/ nanocomposites and tuning their optical properties for photo/electrocatalytic applications. With major emphasis on bacterial disinfection and understanding the photoelectrocatalytic mechanisms for bacterial disinfection. Details about my works and publications that you can find it below.

Research involves constant investigating and redesigning of the scientific questions posed about stability and re usability of materials for bacterial inactivation. The strength of my research lies in the breadth and depth of the experimental approaches I utilize in understanding the mechanisms that drive the systems I am studying. Photo-electro-catalytic modeling of bacterial disinfection
EFFORTS FOR PHOTOSTABILITY, PHOTOCORROSION AND REUSABILITY
We try to come up with efficient ways to reuse the catalysts for bacterial disinfection cases. Bacterial adhesion at these surfaces is a beg question to address. Coverage of the these sites via bacterial adhesion leads to the compromise in the catalytic activity.
we also explore the ways to enhance the photostability of the catalysts.
